Pie!
Yesterday, Sabrina and I had a day together - we went to ComputerFest, which is kinda like a gathering of all the small-business computer stores in Toronto in a giant con setting (basically a giant Dealer's room). I was looking for a cheap laptop, but I couldn't find any decent ones for under $500... or even $800 for that matter. All the really small ones were kinda not worth it. O_o
Sabrina got some CD-Rs and a CD Wallet - I got the same CD Wallet (now holding all of my burned CDs) and the Monty Python and the Holy Grail game. It's strange, and I don't quite get the game yet... it's like Monty Python's Complete Waste of Time with a plot. :P
We also went to Kinnon's house and were treated to one of the most violent and gory movies to come out of Hong Kong - Riki-Oh. Yes, I have wierd friends - they laughed through the horrible, bloody deaths that permeated throughout the whole thing. The problem was, the first time Sabrina turned away, she said "what happened?" and I had to explain it to her... and I started to laugh because of the complete ludicrousness of it all. "Yeah, he's cut open his stomach... and now... he's... strangling Ricky with... his intestines... O_o" *shudder* (Needless to say, she turned away when it looked like it was getting violent and didn't ask again.) I'm glad I didn't have nightmares.
Speaking of nightmares and dreams, I have no memory of any dream last night. Maybe it's because whenever I wake up to my radio, whatever was in my brain gets washed away by the sound of the music?
Anyways, lesson learned for the day: If Kinnon says that he has a gorefest movie, and is planning to buy LOTR, it's most likely that the gorefest will take precedence. (If I remember what he said correctly, his bro was too lazy to pick up LOTR.) Also, do not go and get pizza and bring to said unknown-gorefest. O_o
We played a couple of games following that - nice, happy, colourful games. I showed off Super Mario Sunshine - mmm, runny goop everywhere - and we played the heck out of Super Smash Bros. Melee - still need to get the Battlefield - and then turned on Cookies and Cream, this ultra-cute but ulta-difficult game for the PS2. The idea behind it is that Cookie and Cream (two bunny rabbits) have to run down two separate corridors, and most of the time one of them has to do something so the other can continue. For example, if Cookie pushes a button, a bridge will fall on Cream's side so Cream can run across it and pull a rop so that the leashed alligator on Cookie's side can't run after him. It's a lot of fun to play with two people and hilarity ensues. ^_^
It's now December... now it's time for me to get crackin' on my Christmas Wishlist. :P My sister comes back from Halifax on the 8th (next Sunday) and I can't wait to see her. It'll be great. ^_^
My Dad had requested that I try to find a DISK-BASED program he used last when we were, oh, in the OLD HOUSE. So, being the son I am, I went hunting through a Banker's Box full of disks for this one disk. I didn't find it. Of all the disks in that box, maybe 3 of them were made by a company and had printed labels. All the others were files I offloaded from my 486 when I had no diskspace. I also realized that I could probably stuff all of those disks on 3 CDs, but that would take a full day's worth of work and I have no need to access these disks.
On the up side, I found a couple of old-school games that I'm going to take into work. ^_^

Which Harry Potter Candy are you?
brought to you by Quizilla
what's your cowboy bebop theme song?
"Have you ever spent days and days and days making up flavors of ice cream that no one's ever eaten before? Like chicken and telephone ice cream? ...Green mouse ice cream was the worst. I didn't like that at all." - Delerium, Neil Gaiman's The Sandman
Second upside: I found the ending song to the original "Gex" game, and tried to find it on the web. No luck, but I found a song, which I'm listening to right now. Awesome song. Now if I can find the lyrics... ^_^

*shakes fist*
Anyways, yeah... Don't make it sound like you weren't laughing throughout the REST of Riki-Oh!

Nyao, Jason makes me sound all not-able-to-take-senseless-gore-y. It was just the pizza I swear. I was laughing. I was laughing.
