Well, for some reason all my memories have returned, so I'm trying my best to update this again sans heater (which blew the circuit breaker)...
...to all my American Readers (all one of you), I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. ^_^
My most favorite smell in the world is the scent of burning wood. If I had a fireplace in the house, I would most likely relax (and eventually fall asleep) in front of it. There are a couple of houses in the area that have fireplaces, because I can smell them on the walk around the block or to the subway. Sigh how I miss going to the cottage - with the current weather we've got in Toronto (cold enough to freeze your assets), I long for a wood fireplace ^_^
It's getting harder and harder to take my leisurely walks due to the extreme cold... but perhaps if I didn't forget my gloves, hat, and scarf, the walks wouldn't be so numbing.
I found my scarf... now if only I'll remember it tomorrow instead of running out the door at the last minute and forgetting my scarf, hat and gloves...
