It's snowing here. A lot. The car was covered in a few inches of snow this morning. It took about 20 minutes to clean it off.
Ever open a bottle of Ramune before? I had no idea how to open it, until I looked at a website and discovered the following:
Rather than use a twist top cap, Ramune bottles are closed with a vacuum sealed glass marble. Simply opening the bottle is an adventure by itself! To open your bottle of Ramune, punch out the plastic plunger from the perforated ring it's attached to, place it in the hole in the thick plastic mouthpiece, and use it to depress the marble down into the bottle with gentle pressure. Ramune is carbonated, so make sure you've got a towel handy because your ramune will erupt on you, even if it doesn't look shaken up.
And erupt it did. I realized that I might want to stand away from the computer while I opened it, and PANG it exploded all over the place. ^_^ I couldn't help but laugh. And strangely enough, you can't up-end the bottle, or else the marble gets caught in the neck again... you actually have to drink it slowly. ^_^ And it fizzes something fierce...!

So... lessee... eep, I've got another long-winded post to make. I haven't updated for 3 days. O_o
So, on Friday, Me, Sabrina, Kristy/Potter and Sheena/Malfoy went to go see Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. It's a good movie - definitely true to the book, and definitely darker, like everyone says. Lots of great special effects. The Quidditch Match was awesome. I wondered how they would handle Potter speaking Parseltongue... it was done well. ^_^
After the movie, I had to bolt out (wearing my costume et all) and get to work. I was only a couple of minutes late. Speaking of the costume which Potter and Malfoy made for me - its great! Very durable and fit well. (I am still surprised that I was wearing a "small" size cape...)
Ok, I just saw on AnimeonDVD.com that they reviewed the Cowboy Bebop Best Sessions DVD. They say Watanabe Shinichi directed that. Um, is that Nabeshin of Excel Saga fame? O_o
On my run on Thursday, I came upon a smashed pumpkin - I "hid" a couple of pieces under the bridge in hopes that something will grow there next year ^_^
I did a little bit of exploring that day, instead of jogging back to work... I found a couple of disused ships... at least they looked disused. They were probably just old and being held there for storage. But the interesting thing is that there was a small mammilian skull - perhaps a ferret? It was about as big as my fist... kinda freaked me out for a second.
On Friday, there was this "25th anniversay" thing on Telepace - and one of the guests was wearing a Hufflepuff tie! Yellow and black stripes - freaky considering the release of the Chamber of Secrets on Friday, as well :P
Saturday, Sabrina and I went to Pacific Mall so she could exchange her bad CDs... it sucks that she couldn't get a refund on them because they were faulty. She had to exchange them for other games, and I hope that they work...
I saw a new game at the arcades on Saturday, too - Martial Beat. Think of it as DDR, Martial-Arts style. (BTW, that link... there's a "Konami Health Entertainment" division now? O_o) (Dear God, check out this Atrocious Engrish...
We had steamed Artichokes and Ravioli in Marinara sauce for dinner. Mmm-mmm good! ^_^
I haven't done much for today, except since my parents were away, they left me a list of things to do - I couldn't cleanup the backyard because of all the snow! However, I ended up clearing the driveway of the stuff (and I have a feeling that by now, it's up to another inch again - looks outside yep it's still nowing ^_^), vacuuming the house, and walking Jake. I should vacuum the basement...
