Well, it's been a while since I posted, so here's a little culled-together post. Considering the weather we're having (thunderstorms and lightning aplenty) it's about time that I write up a post, before we lose power or somethin'. :D
- We went up to my parent's cottage a couple of weeks ago. We were privileged to have the same weather that Toronto got, about 20 minutes earlier. XD I spent most of the time laying in a lawnchair feeding peanuts to chipmunks. They were funny, as I discovered a few things: there's a family of baby chipmunks, and the mother was keen on shelling the peanuts before stuffing them in her cheeks, instead of the other chipmunks who would stuff the whole peanut in their jaw and hop off. It's so relaxing out there with no connections to the internet. In another week we're going out to Nippising where we've got a cottage with no electricity, the lights are gas-powered. I haven't been there in year, I'm going to love getting out there :D
- A week ago Sunday, it was the third anniversary for Christine and me, and I told her prior to the night to not have anything scheduled that night. So, we approach the time, and Christine wants to know what we're doing, and I tell her that we're going to Avenue Q on Sunday - she had bought tickets to the Tuesday. XD We ended up going to both. Avenue Q was a lot of fun, a lot less raunchy than we expected, but the occasional swear was all that it needed to be more "real" than Sesame Street. :) It was a lot of fun, and the music is a lot more memorable now that I have some association to the actual performance. Highly recommended as an alternative to the regular plays out there :D
- This past weekend was my cousin Cayley's wedding. They had the ceremony out in Collingwood, on top of Blue Mountain. Considering the weather we've been getting over the past week, we were incredibly fortunate to not have a single drop of water in the sky. I got a little sunburned, but it was well worth it. It was an incredible view and Cayley was incredible. The ceremony was short, the reception was incredible as well, and everyone in the wedding party had something to say - considering there was seven bridesmaids and seven groomsmen it was insane. :) Many people wept during the wedding, including my sister, who set me off a few times too :P We stayed over the night in Collingwood and had an incredible breakfast at the brides' parents room the following morning.
- I have the laptop back. Christine's father decided not to go out to Alberta, and he was telling me that the internet was "freezing" when he tried to load IE; I told him to try Firefox and that works, but I can't get the internet to work at all on his laptop now. So, I'm currently running off of Kubuntu which has been perfect in this little lappy :) (Yes, I'm posting on Linux!)
- Game-wise, I've been wanting to try SBCG4AP but I haven't yet - I have the demo on the computer but I haven't touched it yet. I was also tempted to pick up Star Parodier but I didn't, either, and I'm eagerly awaiting Mega Man 9 (Mega Man 1 was released on the Virtual Console, though... that's tempting)...
Back to work this week! It's really quiet this week so far. Can't complain about that. :P

I was expecting "Meet the Feebles" level raunchy, but it's theatre, you can't get that raunchy. :)
