Ahh, Canadian Voices.

So I'm finally going through the Sam & Max: Freelance Police DVD Box Set I picked up when I bought the first season of the Sam & Max Telltale games. Thing is, this is yet another voice for Sam, and this time, being a Nelvana cartoon (i.e. Made in Canada), the voice is strangely familiar.

Here's one of the episodes from the series, and it features a cute alligator.

However, whenever I hear Sam's voice, I can't help but think he's going to sell me a couch in the next scene.

LOL, I'm glad I'm not the only one who heard that! ;) Did you know he's also King Koopa in the old Super Mario cartoons?

Also, I still can't hear any of Max's lines without flashing back to It's Alive ;)

That name strikes my brain with a resonance, but I have no idea why... was it an old YTV/Nelvana show or something?

I mainly only remember it because the Max guy and Scott Yaphe (who went on to host Uh-Oh) are in all kinds of canadian commercials these days X3

Yeah, I see Scott Yaphe everywhere and I can never remember his name :P

Oh wow, now I remember Al (http://youtube.com/watch?v=Ca2_xZdLiWQ). So I was thinking in the right direction... YouTube just keeps our minds from completely decaying! (Aside from the fact that the It's Alive programming was pretty insane, even back then...)

The man's name is Harvey Atkins. He's a friend of our family's, and I've played poker with him. He's VERY quick-witted and extremely funny.
