I haven't had time to update my journal in a few days, and I have a backlog of tabs to go through. :( Thankfully, I'm off this week and I want to clean things up so I can start my "vacation" with a clean slate. :)

Anyhow, the big thing I wanted to mention was that Christine and I went to see Wall•E on Friday. I made a big deal about seeing it on Day One, since a) it's Pixar, and b) Robots. How could I not go see this? :D

You seriously gotta go see this film. It's got a slight environmental theme as well as a humourous look at the state of the world and people in general, and pardon me for fanboying, but OMG that film absolutely is gorgeous. I got emotional as I normally do (heck, I never saw the end of Short Circuit 2) and it's an incredible film. And almost the entire film is silent. I kinda realized that pretty much the first 30 minutes doesn't have any dialogue - well, nothing in present tense. You'll understand when you see it. I won't spoil the film, it's a beautiful ride. :D

In any case, I haven't even had a chance to look up Wall•E links on the web, but I came across another kindred spirit who has assembled a bunch of Wall•E links.

I feel incredibly good about seeing it on Day One. When the DVD comes out I'm getting that on Day One, too :D

Go see it! Go now! :D

It's funny, the trailer made it look really childish and cheesy and dumb, and left Stu and I with zero desire to see it. But everybody's been saying it's awesome, so I guess it was just a bad trailer.
