Well, for the past few days I've been waking up with a sore throat. Go figure that I have a few days off and my body breaks down. It always seems to behave that way; I should be predicting it ahead of time.
As such, I don't think I can go out to Toronto Taste and volunteer for 13 hours (!) and then be expected to be in peak condition to work tomorrow morning. What was I thinking. :\ I'll take the day off and just stay in bed or on the couch. No more physical activity today.
It's been a couple of days since I've seen the small frying pan in the kitchen. Christine and I used it a few days ago, but all of a sudden, it's nowhere. How does a person lose a frypan, anyhow?
By the way, Dave, you left your knife. :P - Which I'll talk more about later, while Game Night didn't really happen, we still had Dave and Erin over and had a marvelous pizza and had a good night in. We tried to play "Suspended" but we got stuck with the sentence construction - 'tis the problem with text-adventures, you need to know what word the compyter's looking for.
Here's a game for you all: Epsilon.. Obviously the creators of this game were looking at Portal and gleaned the portal mechanism and off-the-wall writing for this game. It's very flashy and there are actually a lot of interesting techniques they use (including reversing mouse movements when you reverse time). I like it. :)
