Let me show you it:

Anyone else playing? After my last rant about playing with Nintendo games online, I've noticed that it's got a fair notification system - but you still have to be online to see friends show up. At least you can attempt to get the system to sync the players up :)

Sorry to say it, but Xbox Live seriously destroys anything the Wii is doing in terms of online. Period. I haven't bothered to look up my Mario Kart code, because you can see how important that Smash Bros. code was to our gaming. Yeah...

I apologize for the mini-rant, but I'm so annoyed by lack of voice chat in Mario Kart. This is a game that's BUILT for fun trash talk (I seem to remember many fun times with you and I trading tirades of "TRIPLE RED SHELL!" in Battle Mode of MK64). Mario Kart is all about the social element as much as the gameplay, and it's really ineffective online.

And please say you're playing with the Wiimote/Nunchuk combo. :)

Well, yeah, I know that XBox Live's online is the best, bar none, but Mario Kart's online has improved since Brawl.

Unfortunately, it seems that each game is individual in their abilities. It's not a very encompassing system, and that's where it's going to hurt their online play. I'm surprised Mario Kart doesn't have any pre-written phrases like Brawl did (aside from the pre/post-game messages on WFC).

And no, Wii Wheel. Why?

Because once you play with the combo, you'll never touch the cheapie plastic Wiill ever again. It's soooo imprecise, particularly if you change the angle of how you hold it. It's a severe pain with the bikes - pulling off wheelies is a beeyotch.

Learn the combo controls, then try some time trials. I guarantee the combo will give you faster times.
