I listen to a few game soundtracks in my car when I'm driving around. Lately, it's been Cool Cool Toon, Rock Band, and No More Heroes. While a lot of NMH's soundtrack uses the same tune, there are a few songs (particularily during the boss fights) that are more memorable. One of my favourites (and the name is memorable, too) is called "Pleather for Breakfast" (for Ranking #2). I also like "Mach 13 Elephant Explosion" (which is during Ranking #3).
Anyhow, I got "Heavenly Star" stuck in my head - this is the song you hear at the Beef Head Video Store and Naomi's Lab. Turns out that the Japanese version of this game had that video available to watch on the TV. The North-American version, sadly, did not - it was replaced with the original concept video before the title was renamed from "Heroes" (of which the characters and voices were definitely in beta).
In any case, I found the video that was omitted from the NA NMH version. Here ya go. :) (If you go to the YouTube video, they explain who the Genki Rockets are. You might remember the song from Lumines as well.)
