I finished Sam and Max: Season One just today. For some reason, I didn't "get into" the beginning of Episode Six, so I just tried again and started fresh from the start of the Ep (which, I realized, I wasn't far in anyways) and got through it. I am continually impressed with Telltale's technology and constant tinkering with their engine - and their in-jokes are a nice touch, too.
For example, later on in the Season they implemented a hint system so you could ask Max about what to do next and he'd give a cryptic clue. (In Season Two, they've apparently went even further and just snuck it into the dialogue so you're not outright asking for hints.) They also referenced what some customer's initial reaction to the game was - "It's too short, and not hard enough. I want my money back!" is used, almost verbatim, in a minigame in Episode Six. (I didn't realize this until it was mentioned in their forums, of which I've popped in from time to time, but I'm not very active there.)
It appears that Telltale is also very in-touch with their community, considering what they've just announced - a Homestar Runner game for WiiWare (and PC). Holy Crap! So they've expanded their episodic gaming even further. I think I know why they had trouble launching Bone, but Sam & Max survived - Sam & Max had a pretty big gamer following back in the 90's, whereas Bone has only existed in comic book format. 12 years after Sam & Max was released on CD-ROM, those who have played the game have grown up enough to have more disposable income, and heck, their cost for the game ($35) versus retail games ($40-60) is also a pretty good draw. :) I'm certain Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People is going to sell bucketloads too. :)
In any case, I purchased Sam & Max Season Two, primarily because they made me a nice offer after taking a short survey - they gave me Ice Station Santa for taking the survey, and then I could use that "purchase" to get a discount on the rest of the season. :D
I've preordered Rock Band for the Wii. I can't help it, I love playing the drums. :) I hope the game isn't as gimped as the PS2 version is, though - I'd lke to see some features (*ahem*DLC*cough*) possible. I may actually just flip it if they can't get that to work, sad to say. This is the only game that I can imagine that DLC would keep the game and content fresh and current, as opposed to say, oh, buying a gun as DLC in GTAIV.
Brawl hasn't left the Wii ever since I've put it in. XD I still haven't unlocked all the characters yet, but Christine is helping out in that regard - she likes beating the snot out of the characters so she's racking up the hours. XD
I also finished Ace Attorney awhile back. I really liked the Lamiroir episode, and I was surprised when they suggested that you could influence the outcome of the final case, but I was disappointed with the result - I thought there would be more of a branching system, but it really turned out to be a twig. :\ However, I'm curious to see where they'll go with the next episode. (And speaking of which, rumours abound that "Gyakuten Not Saiban" will be coming soon, and the rumour is that it's a adventure game, in, well, point-and-click style. And look, it appears to be an Edgeworth-focused title! ;) Infomation grabbed from Court Records.)
To finish off, here's a quick game: You Have To Burn The Rope. It's not as complex as you think ;)

Brawl's been out of of my Wii since we all played that last time, and No More Heroes is in it again. Go fig.

My guess is that they're super worried about piracy going way further with a hard drive. And also, they probably want to keep a standard hardware setup. I know why Jay wants it... He's tired of being in my band. The ungrateful bastard!!!

The opportunity was there today, you even put the disc in and booted it up, but we never played! Who's ungrateful? ;)

The talk was a good one today regardless. I should put that "poll" out. See who wins. ;P
