So, I hope everyone had a wonderful Canada Day weekend! I wasn't working this past weekend, but both me and Christine have been rocking out.

See, last Thursday, Dave wanted to come over and make bread (as he's a foodie, but he cooks, but he's admitted to having trouble baking). We arranged to make an Irish loaf that didn't have any yeast in it, and it turned out probably as good as it's meant to - fairly dense and herby, and awesome with butter and/or honey. :D

So, also, Christine had mentioned that she had seen people play Guitar Hero but never played it herself, so I asked Dave and Erin if we could borrow a PS2 and the game from them, which they agreed.

We've been pretty much swapping it back and forth for the past 3 days. I've been relaxing at home rocking out, and when Christine returned from work, she rocked out for awhile. It's very addictive. Awesome. :D

Speaking of addictive, I've also started playing Pokémon Diamond. I didn't think I'd get into it so much as the game really starts sloooooowwwww, but now that I've collected my first Gym Badge, it's starting to move a bit. I obviously still haven't really hit the main story yet, but I'm having trouble not relying on my Twiggy, whatever Pokémon that one is when I started. Bidoofs are ridiculous to level up when they faint after one hit. :P

Insecticide is looking really cool. I only hope the DS game looks as good as this video, though I've noticed it's coming out on the PC, too.

Here's a good way to describe Facebook. XD

Geek Rising has some exclusive shots of Manhunt 2, to reflect its reworked status. The second screenshot is what really excites me, stealth returns! :D

Sam The Record Man closed their doors this past week. They auctioned off everything except the "spinning records" neon lights outside as they've been marked as "culturally significant". I was tempted to get in there and buy a piece of history. The collection of pictures have a lot of the stuff that was sold. Sam's, you will be missed.

Here's another game for y'all. (Whenever I say that, I feel like I'm Texan or something.) Mindscape is a little disorienting when you first start playing it, primarily because your character can walk on the walls and ceilings - but the world rotates around you, not the other way around. It's easy enough to play, but difficult once you get to the robot stage.
