Earlier this week, Rogers called, and asked me to volunteer on Sunday instead of Saturday because 6 people weren't coming in on Sunday. So I said yes. That means I could go to Kinnon's on Saturday. Bonus.
They just called again - the alternative Saturday Computer Graphics person just cancelled, and so they want me to take Saturday, and they've found a replacement for Sunday (they're getting another volunteer to drive them in).
So now I can't go see Kinnon - well, I can, but he wants to show a Movie (Cowboy Bebop, nonetheless), and I don't want to hold that up.
Tell me again why I still volunteer there. I don't need to take these positions if they interefere with me being away from friends.
Addition: Just contacted Kinnon, and they'll hold off on showing the movie until I get there. So nice... ^_^

So let me get this straight, you work 5:30am to 2:30pm on a weekend and then go over to these bitchy people who obviously don't see your true worth to them...Wait, I'm not trying to set you against the Rogers people!
My mom says to me all the time that if you can't work somwhere that you should volunteer there. But it appears that the TV business is a bit more resilient to the ''wear 'em down'' approach!
I know, you told me you botched the interview...ask for another. See if they will give you anything. They obviously need you, so chin up!
Yeah for Kinnon.
