A few quick links to put away before my computer has to be rebooted due to it being a Windows computer. I have to admit, I'm impressed that there's still Security Patches still being made for a 7-year old system (though, at the same time, it's scary too). My Linux build will come eventually, I'm sure of it!

A little while ago, Kotaku mentioned a game for the DS called Insecticide. Seeing that it's an adventure title, looks "wacky" and also has a feel of "Beyond Good and Evil", I'm certain I'd enjoy it. I'm going to be keeping an eye out for that one. :)

Hey, does anyone remember a cereal that had bran shaped into little hollow rectangles, like square "O"s? I've been meaning to find out what company made that and ask them whatever happened to it. I loved that cereal as a kid, and amazingly enough, it was a cereal that was good for me. (Speaking of which, Mythbusters did an experiment where they determined if the cardboard box that the cereal came in was more nutritious. Turns out the cardboard is 20% less nutritious than the cereal. Not much difference, I guess. XD)

If anyone's got a website and needs a captcha system, I discovered ReCaptcha, which aside from identifying humans, also helps the company digitize books that are having troubles with their OCR tech reading faded or blurry words.

Quack. A few more video links for you, under the cut.
Undoubtedly this is my favorite. Especially the Q&A period at the end.

And then there's this prank - very elaborate but the payoff is big. :D

That inspiring post I mentioned last time? It's coming, I assure you. :P

That looks like my kinda game. Speaking of DS-flavoured matters, are you coming tomorrow night?

Is that tomorrow night? I have to admit that I lost track a litle while ago. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it. Hopefully I won't be working overnights next time - I'll speak up whenever the next meet is organized. :)

I take it that you're going to be in TO for a while now?

That second video was just brilliant.

hmm. does that mean cardboard is somewhat nutritious, or that cereal is not that nutritious? Because the bunnies do eat a lot of cardboard and it'd be nice to think they were getting their daily dose of Vitamin C as a result... ;)

What was derived was that the cardboard had about 20% less calories, but no nutrition in the form of vitamins at all - at least, derived from the tests that they ran. Fruit Loops burned rather well though O_o

Heh! Try setting a Doughnut on fire sometime. Plain sugar doughnuts burn like you wouldn't believe!
