Today was a fun day. I invited Sabrina over (well, first I went to her place, and had cookies and tea ^_^)
I finally tried out the catseye contacts. They stung a bit, but Sabrina thinks they were from the contact solution. We'll have to see.
There was this Mahjongg table sitting outside of a house with a sign tacked to it with Chinese writing and the word "FREE" in English. Thinking that the table was being given away, Sabrina and I approached the owner and he said that the sign actually mentioned that he was giving away Chinese videos for free - that's why it was all in Chinese, not many English-reading people would be interested ^_^ - in any case, he didn't want the Mahjongg table either, so we got it! ^_^ Now all we need is a) Mahjongg tiles, and b) lessons on how to play. Well, at least I do.
As usual, Sabrina pushed Jake around a lot (but she likes playing with him, and I think Jake likes the attention, so there's no problem there ^_^), we played Smash Bros Melee (she's getting quite good at it), and we had spaghetti on our kitchen table. :P
The main disadvantage of working at 5:30am in the morning is that I typically have to get to sleep by 8:00pm the night before. I'm staying up WAY too late right now because I have to crash tomorrow to work the next day... it sucks. The things I do to go to UTARPA ne?
My eyes are still stinging... but it comes and goes. Maybe it is an eyelash...
I've added Tayley-chan to my bookmarks, since she has a DeadJournal and I can't add her to my friends list. v_v It seems that I discover these people once they suffer a major problem/breakdown. Is that a radar for me or something?
In any case, I hope that she's doing alright and feeling better. *Wants to get in touch with Tayley-chan just because she's a fellow Canadian*

Candy said just to go up (or down) Chinatown until we find a place that sells mah-jongg tiles.
I was thinking of making my own, but I dunno, because I would have to make them out of wood. 166 identical blocks of wood. Ai. I think I"ll put that project in the pile with the 'make my own tarot card deck' one from two years ago.
