Holy Crap, I figured it would happen at some point (and I mused about designing a MapQuest with Live Traffic updates so those travelling can avoid trouble spots) but it appears Google has done it - you can click on Traffic in the Map (beside "Satellite") and it will give you a rough idea of the traffic situations.

(With Google purchasing Doubleclick recently, I'm a little scared of Google now, it's becoming a powerhouse. I think it may collapse under its own weight eventually. Otherwise, Google will be the Internet. :P)

One of the movies we're currently airing at work is Casino Royale, the latest Bond film. The opening is breathtaking to watch, and really, a YouTube video just doesn't do it justice. I would've loved to have seen this on a theatre screen, the graphics look so detailed and gorgeous. :) (The song's great, too.)

Someone's posting all the Katamari Damacy wallpapers to celebrate the newest Katamari game, Beautiful Katamari. Some of them look awesome, some look strange (au naturel), and some are... well... in the theme of KD. :P

I've been reading a lot of Kotaku, so forgive me if I link to a lot of Kotaku links. Here's another Megaman dance, this one to Lucky Star.

Any homebrew/ROM fans who would like a free GBA game should pop over to DHG Games's site. About 2 years ago, they started working on a ExciteBike-type game, and they had two publishers drop the project due to declining GBA game sales. So, they've decided to release the game for free as a ROM. Looks fun!

Speaking of games, here's 52 Gaming Similes to Describe Your Relationship. More in the comments, too. :P

Kinnon mentioned something about how "Card Games" are popular in Japanese Arcades. After seeing this video, it's kinda interested me, too. :P

Coutesy [livejournal.com profile] ravenworks: Hacked Super Mario Bros that is infuriatingly hard. It's a video, but man oh man it's funny to watch. You have to remember the steps, it's just like DDR - only, with no rhythm! :P

Courtesy [livejournal.com profile] sarcasm_hime: SomethingAwful made New Transformers. Brilliant! XD The art is very well done! Did they freaking render these or something? (I particularily liked the Mailbox. XD)

~~
I joined Facebook awhile back - if you're interested, you can add me. I'm right here!

Oh man, that card thing is brilliant... I'd seen those kind of screens before, but I'd never seen them used that usefully! Man that looks like a great idea..

I remember seeing something similar that uses specifically-created cubes, circles and such that, when in proximity to each other on a table with a camera mounted on the underside, changed the sound wave and could generate simple sounds... now, if I could ever remember what it was called...

mmm I love those Katamari wallpapers. Is Beautiful Katamari the one for 360? I guess that just means I have to be at my boyfriend's to play it all the time hahah (ignoring the fact that my brother has a 360 upstairs)

Hells yeah, we are HOMIES on facebook XD -high five-

360 and the PS3... no Wii version, it seems. :( I still want to play it!

Now, whenever anyone says "high five" I think of Borat. :P

Woot! Well it would be weird on the wii without the dual joysticks as classic katamari controls.

I do still wish they had gone with DS instead of PSP for the other game. It woulda been cool to roll the katamari with the stylus lol. And because I have a DS and not a PSP (because.. come on.. its PSP haha)
