I have not been in the best of moods lately - I haven't been able to read your journals or post to my own journal, but this week is an overnights shift, so perhaps I'll have a little free time on my hands in the next few days or so.

Anyhow, I'm trying to clean up this computer and I see nothing but a ton of links, so I'm going to try to perform a Link Dump of sorts. Hopefully I won't ramble too much...

Updated my profile image, courtesy of an animated gif from Court Records. I'd been looking for this for a while!

Christine and I went out to see the Menagerie Pet shop on the advice of [livejournal.com profile] liradralyn. It's a small store that's taken up two stores' in size, but it's packed with fish, lizards, birds, ferrets, hamsters... wow, it was just incredible. And while I was there, I discovered that the people there were seriously taking care of the animals as if they were their pets, and with a well-updated website with informative articles (such as the sudden discovery and popularity of the Galaxy Danio causing the species to suddenly become rare and endangered due to over) which makes me feel much better about going there - I will definitely take my time to go there and make my purchases as opposed to going to Big Al's. Heck, they're setting up quarantine tanks! I never saw anything like that at Big Al's...

I can't remember what spurred it, but I went looking for the I Love Eggs flash a few days ago. It's really syrupy... :P

Christine has been wracking her brains (and scouring the Internet) for about 5 years, trying to find out how to reduce the clutter created from Plastic Shopping Bags, by folding them into neat little origami triangles (a trick her friend used to do). With that challenge, I went searching - and found it on the Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Earth Edition. Here's how to fold Shopping Bags into Origami.

I've started reading B3ta again. You have been warned! Now, here's how to make a Chocolate Dalek Cake. XD

B3ta also referenced a game called 5 Minutes to Kill (Yourself). A little violent, but silly office fun.

Here's an article, not particularily focused on Whedon-based shows (but are used as examples) about narrative satisfaction.

BIZARRO PHOENIX! XD

And for your viewing pleasure: Videos!

And because I love you all so very much... a bonus video! It's AskANinja.com, where The Ninja interviews Will Ferrell and Jon Heder about Blades of Glory!

(Speaking of which, the Ninja is for Net Neutrality. Check out his blog post about how MySpace "censors" some video-sharing sites like Revver.)

Okay, one more... Mega Man doing the Haruhi Dance. XD

Aww, you should have called when you came down! We love going there.

Well, it was in the middle of the day, due to our work schedules and Christine's class. Nonetheless, it'd be fun to wander around there sometime later :)
