No, I'm not dead yet. It's been a busy week - it's been a week-and-a-day since Christine moved in here with me, and it's starting to get comfortable. We had brought all the smaller things over in the month prior so that she could feel more comfortable, and when the moving day came, we piled all of her furniture into the moving truck and brought the rest over. As we both have a lot of doubles of things, we're setting up a box of stuff to donate to Goodwill or libraries or whatnot, as to free up more space. And I'm going to rent a storage locker this week so that we can start storing stuff away as we still don't have a resolution to the storage problem here.

Now that Christine is here all the time, we're both feeling really good about this move. No more shuttling back-and-forth, and we get to see each other all the time... Poor girl's a bit sick right now and I'm taking care of her. But I'm so glad that the two of us are together here now! :D Once this place is totally cleaned up, oh, it's gonna be great! :D

We're still shuffling boxes around, but it's good to have this place looking a bit more mangageable every day. We've put the two bookshelves up in the Dining Room/Entrance area, and a shelving unit as well as my old clothes drawer in the kitchen (which works rather well). With all the big items moved and set up, it's just a matter of moving the little things until we get it all organized.

I might feel more chatty later... I haven't been checking for the past week (cleaning up, work, and all that) so I might have more to say later.
