For anyone who is a true Broken Lizard fan (like Christine is, more than I am), I would assume that you went to see Beerfest last night.
And if you know how Broken Lizard writes their screenplays, you'll find that they have trimuphed yet again. Essentially taking a page from Oktoberfest and a Fight-Club-esque idea ("you do not bring Outsiders into Beerfest"), two brothers are asked to take their Grandfather's ashes to their family resting place, whereupon they discover Beerfest, where teams from all over the world (including Canada, eh?) gather to partake in officially-sanctioned Drinking Games.
The concept is silly, but hey, it was so much fun. There was constant laughter throughout and some interesting stories to be told, and applause broke out in the theatre when the Canadian team made their appearance. :D
And yes, if you were to drink as much beer as anyone in the movie did, YOU WOULD DIE.
~~~
I can't think of anything to put on my Stephen Colbert "On Notice" Board, but I'll link to it in case anyone wants it.
