(Itchy. Tasty.) Anyhow... :P

Christine and I have returned from Parry Sound, and we had an absolute blast. We have never been up to this new cottage that my parents bought, so the two of us were amazed at the size of it, aside from the fact that it's on a huge plot of land and is absolutely gorgeous. :D

I completely forgot to take some shots to describe the size of the place, but I did catch some wonderful scenery, of which I am placing under this cut:

After arriving on the first day, it was already approaching darkness, but we decided to look around a bit. Our first meeting with Chippy was here - we placed a handful of honey-roasted peanuts at a rock and let him approach. (We later discovered they're not too fond of dry-roasted peanuts, but honey-roasted are awesome):

We later found numerous holes in the grass and discovered that one of the Chippy folk lived there:

On Thursday I had gone for a little Canoe trip on my own, and caught this picture:

A few shots had me thinking "Cute Overload, here I come!"

Especially these shots with the spring-loaded bird feeder. Obviously, they're not heavy enough to weigh down the cover to prevent this kind of thing from happening, but it's worth watching:

I also tried to get a few pictures of Chippy on my leg.

He's smart, that little guy - he went for the bag instead...

...And then realized I had a bowl of them just sitting out!

The first morning after sleeping I caught this wonderful mist burning off the lake:

And on the way home from Parry Sound on our last day, we guess that there was a Gas Station here at some point...

And here's a couple of bonus shots of Chippy, once I had him eating right off the balcony railing. Note that he's washing his hands in this shot!

And this one is just perfect:

If anyone was getting some odd phone calls from Samuel L Jackson recently, you might want to check out this site. Even if you haven't, start speading it around! :D

Here's a great Japanese snippet featuring Tetris. *laughs*

The $2-million comma. Finally, punctuation is getting some recognition. This will be important when the 1337 come of age and start creating contracts with "u" instead of "you" and "r" instread of "are". Also, "their", "they're" and "there". :)

SQUIRL! And how photogenic! Especially the gasstation looks like a great location for a modelshoot :)

I'm happy you had a nice time :)

you have no idea how much improper spelling and punctuation irritate me. (just read my myspace profile.)
