feeling a bit bummed tonight... we had another family come by tonight and have dinner with us - seeing them was great, but unfortunately I was the busboy all the time.
"Jason, can you please bring this food tray out (and this one, and this one, too)"
"Jason, can you go get some Regular Coke from the store?"
"Jason, will you cut the cake?" Admittedly this wasn't too bad, because I decorated the cake (chocolate cake with vanilla frosting and sprinkles all over), and it was filling ^_^
Work was quite different than what I expected. The schedule we were supplied with a week ago was completely off the mark from the computer-program schedule that was displayed this morning, and even that was off because we went LIVE for 5 LONG HOURS. That means I didn't have to do anything except swap tapes every 2 hours.
Although I managed to read a good deal of "Made in Japan", the story of Akio Morita, one of the founders of Sony. It's a really interesting read ^_^ (And I never read books, either - especially not ones about corporations.)
I've got a bit of a stomachache now - either I ate too much or my body's just outright rejecting me...

You know what you should have done to add a little bit o' humour to your evening? You should've changed into your Yorokonde uniform. That would've set the busboy tone!
I don't think your body is rejecting you, though. If its changed its mind all of a sudden, tell it "Too bad, buddy, we're in this together for life"

Re:
I sure they would have too. That costume is hardly inconspicous.
