Heh. Another 3 days and no update. I'm getting lazy. (Nah, I'm just quoting the majority of webcomics out there. :P )

Well, let's go through this day-by-day.

Thursday:
I had Sabrina over to the house for a day. We went to the aquarium there to go get a new heater for the fishtank (go figure - I purchased the same model and read the instructions - the old one still works! Ah well, it'll be fine for when I get another fishtank...), and we looked at all the fish there. I really like the tropical fish - and I think they use a special light (similar to a blacklight) to make them really flourescent-looking.

On the way back we stopped by the "Pump Cafe", a DDR-like place that deals in Bubble Tea and Pump It Up, a Korean knock-off of DDR. I like that game, but it's expensive to play and I don't have it at home :P Apparently there's a home version for the PC, strangely enough. I wonder why the PC...

I showed Sabrina SaiKano. Of course. ^_^ That makes the third viewing of the first episode of that show, and I still hadn't picked up #2 by then.

For dinner, Sabrina brought a couple of articles - Penne Pasta and sauce, and I supplied chicken for a wonderful Chiken Penne. We cut up half a Yellow Pepper and I guess about 1/3 of an onion (!) and put it in, and it was marvelous. We even made Garlic Bread in our Mini-Breadmaker ^_^ Dessert was a Cherry Pie that we found at the Loblaws for an awesome price. :) That was an incredible dinner - so much more elaborate than the typical "one-pan" meals I make - Stroganoff, Kraft Dinner (Mac & Cheese for you American folk), soups, Perogies :P

Friday:

Friday:
<a href="http://www.livejournal.com/users/carpetteknyghte/>Sheena</a> and <a href="http://www.livejournal.com/users/badluckshindou">Kristy</a> came over on Friday, and due to the rain that was downpouring, we delayed visiting the Fabricland until a later time in the day.

Because the two girls were all about <a href="http://www.weebl.jolt.co.uk/">Weebl and Bob</a>, they wanted Pie. So, we ended up with Cherry and Apple pie at home. :P

I showed them Eternal Darkness and got them all riled up about it. Sheena was really impressed. If only she had a GameCube, she could go out and buy the game :P

Showing #4 of SaiKano. By this time I had managed to get episode 2 (and 6, which shall taunt me until I get 3-5) and so now I'm even more intruiged by the Ultimate Weapon. ^_^

We finally went to Fabricland around 7:00, and the two girls ended up clearing out the store of one particular fabric - and they *still* need more for my costume O_o (I got funfur tho - Sheena's gonna make me a neko-tabby! ^_^)

The Glow Store has those Cats-eye Contacts I've been looking for... 90-day wear for $60. I'll keep looking to see if I can find a better price, but that's probably not bad...

Sheena is going to apply for a Visual Arts course for school! I'm so happy for her. She's really talented... where's your site, Sheena? - and draws really cool pictures. ^_^

Kokanniki...

One of the disadvantages of working at IPTN are the wonko hours. Because I needed to work at 5:30am, I wake up at 4:00am, and that means I had to get to sleep about 8pm - however, because I had to drive Sheena and Kristy home and Mom didn't bring the car back until about 9:30... well, O_o I actually fell asleep on the couch for a few minutes just before Mom came home. I didn't get home until 11:30 and I'm wondering how I'm still awake right no-...

Zzzzz....

<i>Thoughts there were in my head today:</i>

One of the languages that IPTN is going to broadcast in is Tagalog. What culture speaks that language?

Hey, would Terra from Final Fantasy III/VI speak Esper-anto? [ducks and runs from the volley of rotten vegetables]

There is a chance that blondes might be extinct within 200 years, finds a <a href="http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/1033174470760_34//">recent study</a> (due to blonde hair being a recessive gene). Read the comments from the two blondes at the bottom of the article. Gave me a laugh.

Two great quotes:

<i>"Notoriety is worse than fame, but it’s heaps better than obscurity."</i> -Terry Gilliam

Anime on DVD's review of <a href="http://www.animeondvd.com/reviews2/disc_reviews/1383.php">Sex Demon Queen</a> says that it's like a hentai lost episode of Excel Saga. Hm...

Also from Anime on DVD is a reccomendation to go <a href="http://anime.madwuv.net/">here</a>. This is a database of sorts that asks you what anime you like and will reccomend other anime, based on what other people have suggested to the database. Apparently it's more complicated than that (I haven't tried it, myself), but it sure sounds like a great idea. ^_^
