I've been seeing a lot of people just by chance recently...

April Mullen used to work with me at Salt + Light. As it stands, se was an actress who would help out on the station from time to time and did some reporting. Nearing the end of my time there, she was on hiatus and had put together a demo reel. I was looking at the credits for "A History of Violence" a week or so ago and I noticed her name in there - sure enough, she's one of the customers in the diner ("Kid in Diner"), and heck, she's even in the trailer (pink shirt).

Then, a few days later, I happen to catch an old classmate of mine from Centennial College, Shawn Murren, on "Holmes on Homes". He wasn't working behind-the-scenes per-se, but he was working as part of the team that was rebuilding a house. I always saw him more as a handyman...

And then last night, while I was out with Christine and a pair of her friends, Arisa Cox, a former fellow Earl Haig student and co-worker from my U8TV days (and then later seen at Toronto1) passed by us. We quickly greeted each other, chatted for only a minute, then headed on her way. Now she's working at Global ("Sun TV", perhaps? It's the same company, I believe) and she also quickly mentioned writing a film.

Real-Life Super Mario Bros (best part is how you use the items). And then there's the school version of the Super Mario Bros which uses "stage ninjas" extensively... :D

And one more... Yip Yip yipyipyipyipyipyip....
