For some reason, this response was brilliant at True Meaning of Life.
Aargh! I have to remember to write down dreams! I was in another Harry Potter one, and that was at 10:00 when I first woke up... then I woke up to my alarm at 11:00 and I've completely forgotten it, and the dream I was having when I woke up at 11:00. Slippery little buggers...
Hey, even Nintendo tries to make as much money as they can. Check out this article regarding Nintendo and RareWare. Rare was the British company that brought us Donkey Kong Country, Conker's Bad Fur Day, GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, Banjo-Kazooie, the upcoming StarFox Adventures...
It turns out that Rare accounted for almost 10% of all the games sold worldwide in 2001, and the following year (2002) it's only been 1.5%. It may be because they haven't released any games for the GameCube yet... sounds like a bit of PR manipulation.
Oh! I had forgotten - addenum. Yesterday at dinner (Sundays are sit-down-at-the-table dinners) Mom and Dad proposed that I start paying rent, when the new year starts. I have no problems with it - $300 a month isn't that bad when the average apartment is around $800-$1,000 a month plus amenities (such as cable, food, hydro, internet, etc). A couple of months ago I told my parents I'd be willing to pay $100 a month (and I said this when I was sober, yes I did) and they were all "Aww, you don't need to do that". :P
So I'll be a resident shortly.
