Hi everyone, I decided not to place my LJ entry on the same day as my request. It'd just dampen the feeling.
I dunno if any of you know this, but on 9-11 last year I was working nightshifts at U8TV. I had just finished my shift at 8am, got home and fell asleep about 8:45, I guess... right before it hit... I slept through the whole damn thing. I don't know if you would call that fortunate or unfortunate. Fortunate, because I didn't experience it firsthand. Unfortunate, because I have to experience it through everyone else.
It is a day of Rememberance, and a day in History. Be thankful for what you have each and every day. A roof over your head, food on your plate, friends who care, people and family who will love you...
Moby last year was updating his journal at His site every couple of hours, as he had a view of the WTC from his bedroom window. Today, he wishes he was back in NY (he's touring in Tokyo right now).
I think we all would go to NY for today if we were given the chance.
We will never forget.
Anyways...
Someone has made a parody of the Apple Switch commercials. It's awesome.

On Monday, I went over to Shu-chan's (who's now become Faust VIII) and had a Shaman King Fest. I brought some sex-in-a-box (Strawberry Passion Awareness Fruitopia) and we ate some food whose name escapes me... like dumplings, but with potato and cheese in a dough pastry...
After the Shaman King Fest, me and Faust went to Pacific Mall and wandered a bit. I discovered a couple of things:
- CHOBITS PLAYING CARDS! I was gonna get them but I had very little money and the ferfricken bank was unable to withdraw money from my account. Boo.
- I have a poster in my room which I really like - it's of this girl who's got chains on her neck, arms and legs, and I had no idea where it was from. Now I know - a Hentai game. I found the same artist with a different girl on some CD-ROM H game at Pacific Mall. Hideki wants the game for all the pretty pictures.
- Faust found a Saiyuki poster and I was surprised at the Nipplage taht one of the bishounen had. I thought anime characters had no nipples...
- Played DDR in the Arcade - it was practically empty, but then again, it was 9:00pm on Monday (first day back to school for many kids), so it was incredibly loud in the empty arcade. I can do 6 feet songs with only a couple of stumbles now. ^_^
- Things to look for in the future- somewhere where I can get catears and catpaws ^_^
