This will so be my life when I move out. ^_^
Looking back, I probably shouldn't have asked that Nelvana rep about their future projects. ^_^ (Kinnon berated me for that - "Anything that isn't on ANNor Anime on DVD isn't public!" :P )
Busker Adventures with Wesley
"Silver Elvis"
I had run into the Silver Elvis (Pete Jarvis) before. Today I happened to run into him again at the Eaton Centre.
For those of you who don't know who the Silver Elvis is, it's a guy earing a black suit covered in small reflective mirror shards, and all of his exposed skin and hair is painted silver. His hair is slicked back and he's wearing shades, and he strikes Elvis poses. The amazing part about him, however, is that he looks like a statue when he stands still - and he "rotates" on his feet like a display model in a store window would. The effect is mesmerizing.
He made two funny gestures today - one, he waved at the people in the elevator behind him, and when two girls went up in front of him to get their picture taken with him, he did the "bunny ears" thing on one of them. ^_^
Dunno what to do with "Mario #2" as Sabrina puts it. I may re-auction it - either now or at Christmastime, or perhaps I'll contact the person who was bidding against me (I discovered they were only $5 under my highest bid) and offer to sell it to them. I'd only lose $5 and shipping, and it'd make me feel happy knowing that I didn't cheat anyone out of a game - and one less thing sitting around the house, too.
Played a round of DDR at the Dundas Arcade today, did rather well. The "Para Para Dancing" machines are better now - they're quite loud - and they're LINKED. I accidently linked me and another guy together for songs and we played in sync. It was cool. (I think the Korean version is wider than the Japanese version, for some reason. I was flailing more than usual...)
