My sis thinks that Mom & Dad are waiting for me to move out so that they can move to Collingwood.
Apartment-hunting is hard! My eyes hurt from looking at the small type. If I knew my roads better I could just skim for a certain part of town.
Considering that IPTN will be moving to the Lawrence / Allen rd area, that's where I'm looking. Near the subway is a bonus, since I don't have a car, and I was thinking that it would be awesome to live in Chinatown. ^_^
Cost is my other factor. I don't want more than half of my pay going towards this, so I'm immediately restricting my choices. This is good, because there are a lot of apartments to look through, and a costly apartment is not on my list.
Oh yes, and hi-speed internet is a must. :D
One of the more entertaining things that occurs at IPTN is that a lot of the shows coming from Telepace use North American music. For example, the opening titles for "Di Paese in Paese" uses "Philidelphia", where in "Storie Tese" the opening song is in English (don't know the song), and I heard the theme from "Friends", followed by "Shoebox of Life" by the Barenaked Ladies.
lol, I saw a show that they were making cheese, and I said to myself, "Ooh, I wanna hear about this"... even though I knew it was going to be in Italian. :P
Où sans les baggage? Pardon my French - I was remembering Monty Python skits and remembered that Sabrina was translating the Frenchman who made an airplane out of a sheep. ^_^
