2. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) how well does your LiveJournal represent who you actually are?:
I'd say it's pretty spot-on, so I'd say an 8 or 9.
3. How much about your life do you post to LJ?:
I post a lot, and when I'm bored at work, I'll post a lot. And when I'm bored at home, I make a huge-ass post. I post a lot of my life. (I so need that "I'm blogging this" shirt. XD)
4. Is there anything you refuse to post about?:
Some things are just not meant for public consumption.
5. On a scale of 1-10 how interesting do you think your own journal is to others?:
Hmmm. Mine's downright boring at time, but I like my trips to Linksville to entertain others. :D
6. Has anyone ever joined LJ because of you?:
Maybe? Bandwagon-jumping, perhaps?
7. What proportion of your posts are friends only?:
I'd say maybe 20%, and then 5% for even more specific groups.
8. What is your favourite interest on LJ?:
Memes and Quizzes are fun, but I like the forum-style conversations that unfold.
9. How often do you post in communities, and did you ever start your own?:
Not very often, and no, I don't have enough of a love for something to start something that hasn't been done already (i.e. _saikano_).
10. How often do you respond to/comment on other people's journals?:
A lot. Sometimes, though, I feel like I have nothing to say, and so I don't.
11. Do you prefer to write in your journal or read other journals?:
Read, as evidenced by my frenetic refresh habit over the course of a day.
12. Have you ever had something mean said to you or been stalked, harassed or got into an argument/flame war on LJ (or did it to someone else)?:
Who hasn't? :\
13. Have you ever banned someone from your journal?:
Yep, thankfully they never saw me as it was a "serial adder". *shiver*
14. Who are your three favourite LJ friend(s) and why?:
angel_machine and
mindmade are my top 2, as they are my closest friends outside of Canada. I can talk with the both of them about anything.
*pauses to munch on peanuts*
Ummm... everyone else. *hugs!*
15. Of all of the people on LJ you know of, who is the most like you?:
I think that would be sierralad, just because we're practially dopplegangers. Except for the sports thing.
16. Why are you most likely to add someone to your friends list?:
Because they're interesting. It's happened several times.
17. Do you automatically add friends to your journal if they add you first?:
If I know them, yes. Otherwise I check over their journal and make a decision based on what they're like.
18. What is the most likely reason you wouldn't add someone to your friends list?:
Most likely because I have no knowledge of them.
19. Is your "significant other" on LJ?:
EDIT: I have no S.O. at the moment, but andora is on LJ, and we're still good friends. :D
20. Have you ever wanted to meet someone on LJ?:
I have, and I have, and I still do! (If that made any sense.)
The smog should be clearing up today, so I've heard. I wonder. Yesterday was so (f/sm)oggy that the sun seemed to have been amplified. My entire condo was awash in brightness. It was awesome. :D
I watched a pair of Mythbusters episodes last night with my Mom. They blew out the side of an airplane and managed to attempt to pull the rear axle off of a police car (a la American Graffiti) in one episode, and then proceeded to see if dropping a penny off of the Empire State Building would actually kill someone. (Result: No because of Terminal Velocity, but a penny fired from a rifle within a few feet might.)
I stayed up late to watch those shows, and unfortunately I'm paying for it now. Zzzzzzzz.
no subject
And mythbusters is neat :D
And I love you ;)
