I've ben waking up around 3:00am every morning lately for some odd reason. I can only assume because of the time that something electronic/mechanical is starting up/shutting down and is disrupting my sleep.
I woke up around 6:00 (normal work wake-up time) to hear my computer making a noise (high-pitched steady squeak) through its speakers. Rebooted it and went looking for a Memory Tester. Went back to sleep.
Got a call around 7:15 in the morning. Father Tom tells me the station's been black all night since 10:30 last night. I called Sarah and she said she'd look into it when she got there. (I later find out the station has not, in fact, been black at all. Must be Father's Rogers Box. Or whomever called Father and complained about it.)
Finally woke up around 11:30 to my Palm's reminder for something. Finally ran the Memory Test (cool, it's Linux. ^^) and I didn't get any errors out of the thing. I guess my compy's just being a little strange warming up to the new hardware and all that.
This motherboard is versatile! If I can find a cheap "Socket A" Athlon or Duron, this motherboard can handle it. How bizarre. The only thing that concerns me is installing the chips. Never done it before, and the thought scares me because of the cost and the fragility of the chip.
Oh, and here's my resolution:
Believe it or not, first try. BAAAAAHAHAHAHAAA!
EDIT: *sniff sniff* I think I smell weed... O.o
