Ok, "Minus 24 degrees Celcius" should not and never be an official temperature. When it only take 20 minutes for skin to freeze, that's TOO COLD.
If someone could harness the cold and generate power, Toronto would have an infinite supply today.
</weather complaining>
Which actually made me think today. I saw so many buildings and houses expelling hot air out of their chimneys, and I thought "what a waste". If there could be a way to retain the heat and not have it pumped out of the buildings at such an astonishing rate, I bet we could save a LOT on heating.
It's actually cold enough to freeze the parking machines. I got to stay free at the parking space today because it wasn't responding. (Yes, I reported it, I'm not that evil.) :P
Saturday night I went out to a bar with Emily, Erin, and Debbie and had a great time laughing it up, singing songs, and retelling stories. :) It was a wonderful night, and I really should do that more often. :D
Yesterday, after finally waking up at 1pm ( Wonderful sleep I got ;) ) I met up with Kinnon, got exposed to theHORRID HORRID weather (sorry, I said I wouldn't complain anymore :P) and had dinner (lotsa chicken!), watched more GitS: SAC, Futurama ("Clarification: Phillip J. Fry of the Squid World?"), and I finally saw Spiderman 2. :D Great film. Great cameos. How could I not recognize Bruce Campbell for the 5 minutes he had onscreen, and yet, manage to catch Stan Lee for the (at most) 3 seconds? XD
EDIT: As I forgot (o.o) I saw Metal Gear Solid 3, which likes to mess with your head big-time, and Kinnon got me the first DVD of Popotan (eee! It's out already!) and the first volume of Here is Greenwood. :D I'm already reading through Greenwood - just as fun as I remember it! :D
I'd better get back to work, I've got a lot to do for the remainder of the week. -_-;;
