You are 93% Pisces

You are 47% Aquarius

Note that "Pisces" is actually the lower-right one, labelled "Aries". -_-;; I also don't like having to edit HTML for quizzes. It actually is broken code, but you wouldn't notice it...

So... um... yeah. I'm tired.

It's my Mom's birthday today, but we had dinner last night and while I got her the Shrek "Box", dad got her a SofTub. yes, we now have a Hot Tub in our backyard. O.O~~! It's AWESOME! :D We all relaxed in it for about half-an-hour and we totally were falling asleep by 9. XD We'll be having another dinner tonight and watching Shrek 2 on Tuesday. I'll probably go home today and try to fix up the place a bit... I need to find places to put my stuff. I'm gonna put the second DVD Player and the fan in the storage room, which hopefully will kick-start my want to clean up the place.

Interesting! I saw the Robosapien at Best Buy yesterday for $130, and Shoppers Drug Mart (which is not known for low prices) has it priced at $100. Nice! :D

Speaking of Best Buy, I went with Dad to pick up another 4-in-1 printer. This one, a Lexmark, actually works, unlike the HP one that we tried twice. But it doesn't include a USB Cable. Sure, you can fax, scan, and copy, but, well, you can't print without the cable... so after going through checkout and noticing it doesn't have a USB cable, I ran back into the cable section and noted that they only sell "Gold-Plated" USB cables for $30 each, and advertise all over the place that it "provides a faster transfer rate". It's not like the Gold Plating will speed up the printer heads or anything... I remembered at that point that I'm not using the USB Cable for my webcam, so they can use that. (and then I saw later that Canadian Tire is selling one for $10... much better price.) What day and age are we living in that printers don't come with their cables? >,< I bet the cartridges won't come with it soon enough...

I've never been particularly impressed with Lexmark printers, in that an ex-girlfriend of mine went through like three of them in the space of about six months. They all died of apparent spontaneous ceasing-to-operate. I set the damn things up, and I know she didn't trash them; they just kept dying.

Mind you, the customer service was great -- they kept shipping new ones to her door and taking the old ones away with them, so at least that part really impressed me.

I use an HP Deskjet, and I have no complaints at all. Mind you, my USB cables aren't gold-plated, so what do I know...

Uh dude. They've never ever had USB cables with them. Heck, I think they stopped shipping with certain parallel cables when they had the dual transfer cables type created... I talked to my dad about that one, since it's always irked me, and it just comes down to lowering costs because printers are super competitive.

And why a lexmark? Those 4 in 1s always die. My friend just had hers just crap out on her...

And I believe (but am not sure) but USB cables may come in 1.0 and 2.0 varieties. If they do, 2.0 cables have a faster transfer rate. But at the same time, never buy cables from futureshop or best buy. Go to Canada Computers. Heck.... Why even buy anything computer related at best buy or futureshop?!

We weren't able to find any 4-in-1 Printers at the smaller stores. We turned to Best Buy after seeing that Costco (where we initially started) didn't have anything other than the HP system.

Sadly, the HP 4-in-1 just wouldn't install correctly. At least those came with a USB Cable...

They seem to be happy with it, at least. And if it breaks, well, they'll get it replaced. It was fairly cheap compared to other inkjets on the market. *shrug*
