Geez, Tycho makes a post about The Final Hours of Half-Life 2 and I'm sucked in. It took me a good hour to read it all.
Anyway, I went searching for System Requirements, and my system is wildly underpowered for the game. I knew it was going to be that the moment the game was announced, and after seeing demos, I was certain of it.
I'm considering getting a new computer for this and SETI BOINC, and both of them are not high on my list of priorities, literally. I haven't even played through the first Half-Life (I played a touch of it when Steam was in Beta.) It'd just be nice to be able to say "My computer can play HL2 and Doom3... even though I haven't played either". XD
In any case, I'll live vicariously through other fan sites for Half-Life 2, including this Half-Life 2 Live Screencaps page.
