Wow, it's so thick out my window right now that I can't see the Don Valley Parkway or the Ikea. It's as thick as peanut butter. ("You mean pea soup." "You eat what you like and I'll eat what I like!")

*kicks Rogers modem again* I have a good lead on a company by the name of AEI - you buy the modem and pay $10 less a month, it pays for itself in a year. :) My uncle's been using it and has been incredibly pleased with the result. I'm definitely going to look at it if Rogers won't bother to deal with fixing the broke-down-three-times-today modem. >< (Shanen, if Bell keeps being bad for you, I'll let you know how AEI is for me...)

...Hey, is that Brian Benben from Dream On on the AEI website?

I had another Atmosfear evening last night. (I've been trying to find neat alliteration (sp?) for it, but I can't find a similar word for "evening" that begins with an "a"...) we played 1.5 games of the new version (yep, DVD crashed - at the same point too... it has to be the disc) and a game of Atmosfear: The Soul Rangers. The rules for that game are rreally difficult, and Dr. Mastiff is tuh-wisted! Anyhow, since [livejournal.com profile] bassbeast wanted it mentioned here's what he wrote on his "Most disgusting" paper: Getting ass-reamed electronically while a 500-pound gorilla takes a dump on your chest. O.o Definitely disgusting...

I had dinner with my parents tonight, as is our custom for our family, now that we've moved apart. :P My parents have got to stop giving me things! :P I feel bad when I take things of theirs, but their logic is that they got it from the office for free. In this case, it was their microwave to replace the one that broke down just recently. :P I really should buy their new computer for them...

Speaking of which, Dad and I will be going over to get a computer one of the days this week after work. I hope we can get it and set it up this week - and while I'll be jealous for a while, I can't possibly afford a computer for the time being. I should focus on paying off my credit first. Then we'll see about frivolities. :P

EDIT: Now it's so foggy I can't even see the road my condo is on. It's so Cool! :D

You don't think the AEI (http://www.aei.ca/) guy looks like this (http://www.imdb.com/gallery/ss/0110939/Ss/0110939/1-3.jpg?path=pgallery&path_key=Benben,%20Brian)?

And here I thought I was the only person who knew the name "Brian Benben".

Haha. Benben. Poor bastard ^_^

I think the eyes are not Benben's.

And I thought my last name was unfortunate...

so if i ever get around to visiting you, we need to go shopping at ikea. we don't have any around here. (the closest is atlanta, and it isn't built yet.)

You have not experienced Ikea? o.o We must go! :P

And it's so conveniently close, with three stores in the Toronto Area! </plug>

Look into 3web too for high-speed internet ^_^ I can't remember what it costs if you need to rent a modem too, but I think Burn and I are paying either $25 or $30 a month. To get the better price you sign up for their long distance plan (we never had one with Bell anyway) and it's like 7cents a minute or sumfin. The most we've paid for long-distance was a dollar and change ^_^ our landlords recommended it to us, they've been using it for over a year now. I'll try to get the website info from Burn when he gets home.

Awesome, thanks! That sounds even better than AEI! :D

I was all set to ask Burn when he gets home then I thought, why not just type the name of the company and stick a .com on the end? And it worked! :D http://www.3web.com/

I can think logically! Huzzah! :D
I know there is some sort location thing, but I think as long as you live in Toronto they can service you, so that shouldn't be a problem.
