Being really lonely on Monday evening, I met up with Kinnon after work yesterday and wandered around Fairview Mall while he dropped off resumes.
(Note to self: Save Money for HMV deals, like Rocky Horror Picture Show for $8, Dead Like Me season 1 for $65 and Monty Python Movies in the 2/$30 bins...)
I wish Good Luck to Kinnon today, who has an interview this afternoon with HMV. :) We'll be bugging him for all the deals, now... (my five years at working at Canadian Tire are over! I can't get you deals there anymore :P)
We had dinner while I talked about work, and then headed over to his place and watched another anime show I must see more of - Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. I had no idea what it would be like going into the show. I know the first and second movies are a deviation from the manga both in terms of art and focus of the story, whereas the TV series is more action and comedy-based. I'm preferring the TV series, and I also can't resist a good detective-type show. ;)
And that opening originally did not 'click' with me, especially since it was all CG and I viewed it somewhere on the 'net. However, after one viewing of it on a big-screen TV made me love it. The almost-haunting, ethereal, multi-language opening also really made me swoon. Why didn't I get into this series earlier? *shrugs*
(adds to want-list: Bigger-Screen TV; Surround-Sound; Pinball Machine)
(You can get Opening and Ending video here, although they're not the full-CG version I'm rambling about.)
...who set off the alarm? bbs...

2) I saw one episode of Season 2 on TMN awhile back and thought it was cool. I'd really like to see more.
3) Thanks! :D

Of course I won't! I would be so damned if I did that. I don't think there are enough Hail Marys in the world that could make up for something like that. :p
