Well, my Hanover trip was wonderful. I have to thank Jamie for inviting me up to see this wedding and to relax!

We got up to Hanover around ... 7:00, I think, after driving up there and seeing things I've never seen before, like Grain Elevators and wild turkeys on the side of the road. *blink* That was insane. XD

We headed over to the Reception Hall and helped put out the remainder of the decorations, including confetti (lots and lots of confetti), personalized napkins, matchbooks, mini-CDs, a small scrapbook of pictures... it was very elaborate. :D We then headed back to Jamie's mom's place and fell asleep instantly. :P

The next day was the day of the wedding, and we had some last-minute decorations to do before going up to the church. What a ceremony. It was a bright, colourful church, with the youth choir singing and a great reception as well... just wow. And dancing, as usual. It was fun. :D

Following the reception we cleaned up (I did vacuum duty) and relaxed in a hot tub. Ahhhhh. Sam and Michelle are very lucky - they purchased a home with a shed-covered pool and hot tub. I'm jealous. And Jamie's Mom's place also has a hot tub and pool too, which is just cool. Hanover, in general, is very cool! :D

Sunday was a total do-nothing day, and we just kicked back, had breakfast at 2:00, and played Rummy-O (Jamie, you've got me hooked :P) until we headed out around 7:00, and I crashed at home as usual.

I had such a relaxing time out there. I spent some time at the Reception gazing at the stars, something I don't/can't do often in Toronto because of the city lights, and I'm fairly certain I saw clusters of stars forming part of the spiral arm of the galaxy. It was so pretty.

And, even though I'm not working the morning tomorrow, I'm going to get to bed now, as I'm falling asleep here. Man. When I get my condo I'll be falling alseep in front of the computer, I bet :P
