Now, I know I don't have to tell you that, but listen to this: I went to pick up a "Internet Starter Kit" for my new condo, and they still wouldn't sell me one because the other guy's name is still on the condo's location. Furthermore, the kit I purchase has no modem in it - some technician still has to come in and install it. That kinda defeats the purpose of purchasing the box at a store and taking it home to do-it-yourself, huh...

Now all I have to do is figure if ordering through the phone or internet is worth the $60 in savings over 3 months, or if it's better for me to purchase the "Starter Kit" and get the "$200 value" Altec Lansing speakers for free instead. (Doesn't look like $200 to Altec, themselves. Comparing Altec's Speakers to the Midiland ones I currently own, which is better?)
