There's already a lot of people here for World Youth Day. The Sheppard subway stop seems to be busier than usual, and that's only a few blocks east of the WYD gathering.
Once again, I think I'm overdoing it at work. Here's my schedule for the week (because Sabrina started it ^_^):
Monday IPTN 2:30-11:30
Tuesday CTC 8:00-1:00, IPTN 2:30-11:30
Wednesday CTC 8:00-1:00, IPTN 2:30-11:30
Thursday CTC 8:00-1:00, IPTN 2:30-11:30
Friday IPTN 2:30-11:30
Monday, 3:00pm and I'm at IPTN. The thunderstorm has knocked out the Satellite signal we transmit. O_o I'm covering the signal with our Launch tape and monitoring the satellite feed... if it doesn't fail again then I'll return to the feed.
Seeing "NO SIGNAL" suddenly on the channel was a shocker. I guess the receiver isn't built for direct television transmission...
Oop, there it goes again. The thunderstorm outside is beautiful, even if it's still humid.
The hallway leaks a bit. O_o
The feed finally came back at 4:30. I feel proud for keeping cool. ^_~
I really shouldn't go to supermarkets when I'm hungry. My dinner was a small helping of Nachos and Cheese, with Apricots and Chocolate Milk. I need to make a lot of sandwiches. If I liked bottled water I'd bring a lot of it, but I don't like the taste. I have to go get fruit juices and the like to keep myself hydrated in this air-conditioned environment.
Have I ever mentioned that I don't like fizzy drinks? I don't drink pop ("soda"), and beer as well. Only in rare instances do I drink that - like champagne at a celebration or when there's no other drinks.
Did the price of an AIBO drop or was that just a dream?
My back hurt today, but that's because I've been trying to correct my posture. Sabrina just told me to stand up straight (after my 'wings' comment) and I've been correcting myself ever slnce. Thanks, Sabrina! ^_^
Why hasn't Sexy Commando been picked up by any anime companies?
What was the name of that anime that featured 5 people employed in a Trading company, but fought evil-doers at night? If I remember correctly the colours of their uniforms were Red, Grey, Moss Green, Sepia and Salmon Pink. ^_^
If I had a better knowledge of electronics, I'd make a Shinbo costume with a Sumomo doll, perched on my shoulder and holding her "mini-monitor", which would be a small screen of LEDs. It'd randomly flash things, but I'd wire it to a button in my pocket so it would flash "HI" or a happy face. ^_^ (or maybe I could get it to flash sentences, like the Mini-LED display in the Monopoly Pinball game. If you don't know what I mean, go to your local arcade and stare at the Electric Company thingy in the pinball game.)
