So, lemme do a quick rundown of the days in Halifax.
Thursday, we arrived around late and decided to go out for food. We did some Bar Angering. You read that already. :P But we also met Mark and Alysha (sp? - she managed to identify us immediately, which threw me off temporarily).
Friday, we had Sushi at Dharma ("Daruma") and went to a place called La Cave, where I experienced several incredibly awesome cheesecakes. I'd go back there in a heartbeat. :)
Saturday was the day of Chris and Ysa's wedding. It was wonderful. :D I was a bit surprised by Nachos for the reception, but as Chris said, formalities are broken-down when you have salsa on your hands. XD We had some wonderful speeches spoken during the reception, and I stuttered through some well-wishing while a video camera had tagged me for capture. XD There was a Selah meeting followed by a good-ol' fashioned party with the Ontario group and Selah together (where, as I mentioned before, I stared at the computer screen for a while before decided to save my typing on a drunken post. I'll be better next time, I promise). It was quite a fun evening. :)
Sunday, after a sleepy wakeup, we had a very relaxed day as we watched Zim and Mark and Julian play Super Mario World... it was quite entertaining, watching the endless stream of deaths and near misses. XD (Speaking of which, did you see that at the Penny Arcade Expo, the Secret Final Game was PONG?)
Monday, we had another relaxing day as we had to pack and go that evening. Lots of cards (in forms of Asshole and Hearts) were played (whereas I was horrible and decent, respectively).
Ysa was bouncing every time she remembered that eight Ontario residents came to visit. :D There was tons of hugging the entire time. Both in "I'm so happy you're here" and "Don't go, Stay!" The apartment is also quite well setup, and very reminiscient of the place in Toronto. It was liked they never moved. (But they have.)
There was lots of walking around between apartments in Halifax and the downtown area. I was astounded that you could get to the heart of Halifax in about half an hour, and that there was even free transit in the downtown area. And McDonalds! And Domino's! And... ok, I'll shut up now, Halifax is not some small town. :P (Though I was tempted to try the McLobster...)
Yeah, I had a great time in Halifax. I really like it there, it's got such a relaxed atmosphere. I miss it - and the people there - already.
I need to sleep... I need my 8 hours...
Quick Guide on Aquaria, including handling fishtanks when transporting. That will be difficult...
