I got home yesterday after getting off the plane to hear that Jake lost a nail while up at the cottage this weekend. :( Poor puppy, he's got his paw in a bandage right now. When he saw me come up the front steps yesterday afternoon, he was there at the front door as usual, but raised his bandaged paw as if to say "Look what happened! v_v"

He seems to be doing alright, but he's not taking the stairs around the house right now. I think that's for the best that he's not trying - he's kinda hopping about right now, and I'd hate to have him miss a step. (He didn't even come downstairs to the basement last night - but he did wait at the top of the steps for me. Awww.)
