This morning, on the way from the subway to work, I ran into two people who made me smile.
One was an urban cowboy, with a gruff look on his face - and a stuffed monkey puppet attached to his belt.
The second was a person who got out of their car while they were stopped at an intersection, and grabbed their coffee from the top of their car. Another coffee to go! :P
I'm very entertained by xxxHolic. Del Rey has been very attentive to detail and has made what looks to be an incredible translation. (Of course, I can't be sure since I can't translate much more than the "Deru Rei" written on the spine, which I thought was a nice touch.) I picked it up mainly for the crossovers, and so far I've seen a couple of references to other series, and it mentions on the back cover that Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE crosses over rather heavily. I haven't gotten to that point yet, but I'm also interested in reading Tsubasa just because the references in xxxHolic are awesome so far.
Hm, I just realized that I'm gonna have a lot of things to buy when I move into the new place. Maybe I should get that new 5Mb Modem for Rogers or whatnot when I get my Internet there...
