Today was a raspberry-filled day. Ginny met up with me at home, we picked up Sabrina along the way, and headed out to Whittamore's.
There were so many raspberries! We bought one of those huge buckets and just went to work. Ginny sang to the bushes, and we all chatted with a nice couple on the other side of the bushel about ...oh no, what was the place? Southland farms, at Bathurst and Major McKenzie?
I still can't remember what squicked me last night. XD Something with eyes?
We returned with a HUGE amount of raspberries, a couple of handfuls of strawberries (it was the last day and it was really random pickings) and 2 bags of peas-in-a-pod. (So I'm a bit happy with the peas. XD) We cooked jam (it wasn't as easy as it was at Chris and Ysa's, many pots were used :P), watched some Kino's Journey (honestly, that couch is too comfortable!) as we all need to get some sleep, and I do as well, so g'nite!
