This is why.

I'm picking up the "This is the Life" video from them right now (using Lupin footage). It's pretty well-done and timed to the music (my favorite type of editing).

Lupin was used in a Laserdisc game back in the early 80's (similar to Dragon's Lair) as a game called "Cliff Jumper". I'd love to see that game re-released as Dragon's Lair has (on DVD), but I get a feeling it'd take several copyright hurdles to release that game.

I remember seeing an ad for the Cliffjumper game on a fansub once. They call Lupin "Cliff" or some such nonsense.
I have the old Famicom Lupin 3 World cartridge. I'm so lousy at it. I can't get out of the second level.

I know you're working on a Faust costume, you said you are working on two. What's the other?

Considering I'm doing Hideki, it'd be really unimaginitive to just go in a sweater and pants. So, I'm doing the "Yorokonde" outfit ^_^

Yep. Got this ancient Singer machine that my Mom used to work with.

I think I always have troubles with sewing the arms - maybe this year I won't sew them into sleeves (i.e. making them tubular) before I attach it to the outfit.

It's kinda tricky. I can loan you a pattern I have that shows how to put sleeves on properly.
I could show you if you wanted.

I've never really gotten the hang of it, but I think I may have figured out a way. I'd still like to see the pattern, tho, because maybe I've been doing it wrong all these years ^^;
