I've just been warned that the "Sausage" chain letter (that thing in Russian) might be malicious (i.e. stealing passwords) - I would recommend changing your password if you used it...

As such, I've deleted it from my journal and changed my password.

If you had an e-mail address associated with your LJ, it might be a good thing to change that password too, if it's the same password as LJ's (sometimes the aim is not to claim the LJ, but any e-mail accounts associated with the LJ.)

It could also just be an exploit using your LJ cookie to auto-update your journal, but there is a strange URL in the JavaScript code. It's times like this that I wish I could understand JavaScript and determine exactly what it does...

I wonder if the english-translated version has the same situation...
