Yes, once again, Tamakun is taking another (kinda-)vacation. As of tomorrow, there is a extremely high chance that I will not be online to update, so please don't worry about me.

I'm going to Anime North tomorrow, following the board meeting at work. As I'm staying over at the hotel this year (I missed the swimming thing last year because I went home!), and it's highly unlikely there is free web access as there was at E3, I won't be around until Monday, and it's right back to work I go. :P

This afternoon, Dad told me of two things - one, apparently the Liberals have gone against their "No tax raises" speech and have raised taxes on alcohol, cigarettes, health insurance, etc., etc., etc., which makes me a little worrisome. We have to deal with this government for the next four years? Of course, they do this now so people forget about it when the next election comes - in four years.

Dad also told me that apparently Grackles have been dive-bombing Jake (and members of our family) as there was a Grackle nest somewhere in our backyard. I never saw this nest, but I remember notes about that it was going to be destroyed. :( I hate that word, "destroyed", when referring to animals. We don't "destroy" humans...

I don't particularily like Grackles. They're the birds that are twice the size of chickadees and sparrows and scare said birds. At least they weren't dive-bombing me when I tempted fate and went wandering in the backyard.

Grackles are positively demonic. They're vicious, plain nasty, and pest-ridden.

There used to be a flock of grackles that would terrorize my father's bird-feeder in the winter. They'd drive all of the smaller birds off, and then waste most of the seed by throwing it around without eating it.

Get rid of them while you can. They're utter pests, and I wouldn't put it past them to be carrying some nasty disease.

No free access at the hotel is almost guarenteed dude ;) But people will survive. They did it for a week, you know? :p

The Liberals thing.. . You heard me rant about them before. This whole thing that your dad was mentioning was because the budget got released two days ago... Taxes up, funding still slashed. And Everyone is calling the Liberals a bunch of Liars. Like I said before, Dalton McGuinty is a crook.

Brr, we have the same problem now with our cabinet. Balkenende shaking hands with Bush while his eyes pop out in lust of dictatorship, telling him he'll support him as much as he can while allmost all of holland is against the Iraqi war and troops still being there...

I have to pay 65 bucks a month now so I can get therapy for the damn tietze illness. That's with own risk premies about 1000 euro's a year. And what do I get... Well as I said before I shouldn't wine about health insurance because it's still a lot better than everywhere in the world, but the cutbacks were ENORMOUS... I guess I know how you feel ;)

I hope they won't cut back more on important things like healthinsurance and students and stuff...
