Ok, I managed to find something awhile ago and finally found the website now. The Anime Girl OS page. There are tons of anime pictures here, drawn on specific information based on every Operating System out there (for example, Windows ME has green hair and the blue "!" warning symbol placed upon her collarbone). The one I was interested in finding was the Win2000 girl :) Some pictures are original, while others take screencaps or scans and modify them a bit (for example, Motoko from Ghost in the shell in the Win2k outfit XD). A good variety nonetheless. :)

And desktops. Ohh, the desktops. The mind boggles.

Hm. WinME seems to have "Confused maid juggling blocks and failing miserably" written into her description. XD

And suddenly, the thought "If someone cosplayed the Win2k Maid, it'd be the most obscure, and most incredible costume yet" appeared in my head. XD

And even an OS-tan area (where's there's two OSes on the same image - dual-boot? :P)

This all reminds me of Yum, the iMac Girl. XD

*stumbles upon Adult section* >,> "Whoops". XD
