Harry Potter is really, really good. I'm halfway through the first book. ^_^ 1 Galleon is worth 17 Sickles, and 1 Sickle is worth 29 Knuts...
GOT YOUR CONK!
Dumbledore likes ten-pin bowling? Let's go bowling, then! (I read too much into these Chocolate Frog cards... ^_^)
Remember how I mentioned that people come to me at work to complain about stuff I can't change? Now even the Managers come and moan/bitch to me. I'm just a part-timer who doesn't get pald enough.
I get a lot of computer-related questions at Canadian Tire. Mostly it's from the cashiers who don't use the terminals except to sign in/out. I typically get one a day, and it's because the computer is on another menu screen and they don't know how to change it. But today...
Them: "Oh my god, what's wrong with the computer?"
Me: "What's it say on it?"
Them: "Nothing, the screen's blank."
Me: "Have you tried pressing a key?"
The girl must have never seen a screensaver before.
And there's a reason we've got a security-locked door. Press two buttons, then a third, and turn the lock... how difficult is it to remember 3 buttons? And today, I got:
"I did that, but it didn't work."
...
"Did you try turning the knob the other way?"
"Oh."
I've heard that Working Designs is looking for people. Didn't they do Lunar? ^_^ Yep, I found their news article about it. That'd be a cool job, but maybe I should see how Inner Peace TV handles first before considering my videogaming future ^^;
