Every year I don't watch the Oscars (they say it was the most boring year ever), and every year I see the after-effects on TV and on the web (Highs and Lows right here) and I want to see them. :P Maybe I should've made my guesses before the Oscars occured.
I'm glad that Finding Nemo won Best Animated Feature. What were the other nominees? *checks nominee list* Ooh, it went up against Brother Bear and Triplets of Belleville. I don't see a contest here, considering Finding Nemo was also the best-selling DVD ever in two weeks. (Amazingly enough, Pixar will be separating themselves from Disney in 2005, after they finish The Incredibles and Cars. If they went through independent distribution, I think they would be incredibly successful.) Triplets of Belleville seems to be getting a lot of publicity these days, maybe I should see it.
Was it really any surprise that Lord of the Rings: Return of the King would win all of the Oscars it was nominated in? This is the first time that a movie has won every award it was nominated in, and it tied with Ben-Hur and Titanic for Most Oscars Won (11).
Harvie Krumpet won Best Animated Short Film. I would like to see this, too.
Hey Ya, Charlie Brown! (Charlie Brown, done to OutKast XD)
Here's my schedule for the next couple of weeks. If it looks odd for a bit, it's because I'm working on the table and I still can't remember my <td>s and <tr>s. :P
