Apparently we had a false alarm about an asteroid almost hitting the earth. That would've changed the world in an instant, had that happened. 1 in 4 chance, and less than 36 hours warning? O.o

Penny Arcade linked to an interesting retelling of the Kidnapping of the Princess in the Mario 8-bit games. It's very dramatic. Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 are all that's up so far.
