Well, following work today I went over to Dave's place to play/share some games, and had a grand ol' time. He was playing through Metroid: Zero Mission, and I knew the extra bit of the story after the Mother Brain, but he didn't... hehehe.

I showed him Pop'n Music - Disney Tunes, which I've found to be very odd. Aside from the obvious (Disney characters and songs in place of the typical Pop'n Characters and music), they have all the Japanese versions of the songs we've come to know and love - such as the Mickey Mouse March, Zip-Ah-Dee-Doo-Dah, It's a Small World, and so on... as well as some other songs such as D.D.D. and ...Dance of Mickey?

Nearing the end of our night, while Dave was playing "Turkey in the Straw", the opening tune is pitch-perfect to the beginning of "Bob" by Wierd Al Yankovich, so I just started into the lyrics, which cause Dave to pitch forward in laughter. He couldn't even start the song, much less actually try to win. XD

In any case, this version of Pop'n has something called "Mania Mode", where coins are on the tracks as well as the notes, and the coins are used to buy other songs. That's a cool way to unlock songs! However, Mania Mode also stirs things up and throws the Pop'n Bubbles totally out of control, so what originally might be a standard four-in-a-row all of a sudden might have two of them racing down the track as if they forgot their place, and they still match up to the correct notes. It's hard to describe, but it's fun to work your way through a song when all the Bubbles are flying down the tracks at different speeds and overlapping each other. XD

I also finally got to play Kabuki Quantum Fighter on the NES. I never got to play that until now! :)

This is a wonderful stress reliever - Bubblewrap. *breathes deeply* :)

I'm working Afternoon shifts this week Mon-Wed, Thursday off (Birthday), Friday Afternoon, Saturday off (Gathering), then Sun-Fri Afternoon. At least I got the days off this week that count. ^_^

And since I believe in free expression in any regards:

Marriage is love.
