I got a job offer today!
It's an upstart company called Inner Peace TV. They basically grab Italian programming of the Pope and other Roman-Catholic programming and slot into a digital TV server.
Looks promising! I'm going to see the system on Monday for training, and I'll sign the papers then. I'll have a job in TV again, working in Master Control! :)
They found me on Media Job Search Canada. Well, it's good to know that that "resume" there isn't lost in the vapour of the Internet ^_^
The Rogers Volunteer position is up until September - Swap Shop had its last show of the season last Saturday. Weekends are more open now... :D
...and if this position I get is a M-F situation, my weekends are even MORE open ;)
...DAMN, it's hot in Toronto. It's like spring decided to take its year-long vacation early. Thank god the computer's in the basement. I couldn't stand to be in front of it if it was sweltering.
