So, Detective Conan is now officially Case Closed, huh?
I guess they weren't allowed to use the name Detective Conan because it bears to much similarity to Sherlock Holmes, written by Sir Conan Doyle (which is where Shuichi got his name from).
...actually, I don't see how that could be confused at all, really. Then again, if I said "Detective Conan" to a non-anime fan, I wonder what they'd say.
*reads website* uh-oh. It may be a Funimation project, but it appears they're changing names. This concerns me. Well, thankfully the Japanese track with Japanese names will remain on the DVDs.
*shudder* "Jimmy" for "Shinichi"? *SHUDDER*, I SAY. Well, at least they kept "Conan".
